Day 1: Welcome to Cuba!

Today you will land in Cuba and head on over to our small locally owned boutique hotel in the heart of Havana! Relax, unwind, and get familiar with your new home away from home.

Tonight, we kick off our adventure with a warm welcome dinner! Get ready to immerse yourself in Cuban culture while supporting local cooks as you enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal. 

Beyond the food and festivities, this trip offers a powerful connection to Africa through Cuba’s rich African history and culture, deeply rooted in the legacy of slavery. As we explore Cuba and support the people, you'll uncover the profound African influences that shaped the island’s music, religion, and traditions linking you to the continent in meaningful ways.

Day 2: Cigar Tour & Cooking Class

​

Today we will learn about how Cubans make cigars and what the process is.​

​

Later, we’ll step into the kitchen for a Cuban cooking class inside the home of a local, where you’ll master authentic recipes passed down through generations. As you whip up traditional dishes like savory plantains and cuban rice and beans, you’ll not only learn the secrets of Cuban cuisine but also support the family helping us make everything. This hands-on experience will allow you to bring a taste of Cuba’s rich culture back home with you.

Prepare for a day filled with culture, fun, and mouth-watering food, all while supporting the local community and gaining a deeper appreciation for the Cuban people’s heritage!

April 11, 2026

Day 3: Farm Education + Support

Today, we’re headed on an exciting 3-hour drive to the breathtaking countryside of Cuba, known as Vinales. This stunning region offers picturesque scenery that will leave you in awe. Along the way, you’ll visit authentic tobacco and coffee farms, gaining insight into the traditional methods of cultivation. You'll support local farms as they educate us on their ways of life. After a delicious lunch at a locally owned restaurant we will head back to Havana.

Day 4: Classic Car Photoshoot & Free Day

Join us today as we dress up for a classic car photoshoot in the vibrant heart of Havana! We all learn about the classic cars and support the local owner and local photographer.

April 13, 2026

Day 5: Afro-Cuba Tour

Today, we’ll dive deeper into the island’s spiritual traditions with an Afro-Religion Tour, where you’ll learn about the profound influence of African religions like Santería. This tour will offer a rare opportunity to explore the rituals, beliefs, and practices that have been passed down through generations, remaining a vibrant part of Cuban life and culture. As we engage with local practitioners, we’ll gain insight into the significance of these spiritual practices in the lives of the Cuban people today. This is an education tour inside of a local home where we will support his work.

Day 5: Give Back Morning & Head Home

Welcome to Cuba & Lets support the Cuban people together!

​

As our final way of supporting the Cuban people, In the morning, we’ll come together for a Period Poverty initiative, where we’ll donate pads and menstrual cups to local girls in need. Access to menstrual products is a major challenge for many young women in Cuba, and this effort ensures we’re making a direct impact on their lives.

Afterward, we’ll head to the airport for our journey home, carrying with us incredible memories, new friendships, and a deeper connection to Cuba’s rich culture, its people, and the ongoing efforts to support sustainable tourism in the country.
